A cleaner river starts with a few hours, a pair of helping hands, and a group of people who care enough to show up. On Friday, September 18, 2026, Hill City AquaZoo is heading beyond our walls and down to the James River for a morning of hands-on cleanup in downtown Lynchburg. From 9 AM to 12 PM, volunteers will work together to remove litter, protect local waterways, and help keep the river beautiful for the people and wildlife that depend on it.
